About goldieQ

goldieQ, previously named Ana TV, helps you discover and track TV shows and movies. This policy describes the information used to provide the app and how to contact us about it.

Information we collect

• Account information: your email address, account identifier, and a password hash if you use a password. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a provider identifier and the information the provider shares, such as your email address and name.
• Your library and preferences: saved shows and movies, watch status, episode progress, lists, ratings, notes, and preferences used for recommendations and viewing availability.
• Authentication information: session and verification records needed to secure your account. For Sign in with Apple, we store an encrypted refresh token so we can revoke authorization when you delete your account, unlink Apple, or recover your account.
• Operational information: server logs and technical request information, which may include IP addresses and timestamps, used to operate and troubleshoot the service.
• Support messages: information you choose to send when you contact us.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate you, send verification and recovery emails, sync your library and progress, provide recommendations and viewing options, respond to support requests, and maintain the service.

Your notes and reviews are private to you in the current release. Account data is not published as a public profile by this release.

Services involved

• Our infrastructure: account and library data is stored in a PostgreSQL database on infrastructure operated for goldieQ. Cloudflare provides network routing and protection for our public services.
• Apple and Google: handle provider sign-in when you choose those options. Verification and recovery emails are sent using Google’s Gmail SMTP service.
• TMDB: provides title information and images. Search queries are sent to TMDB through our backend. Viewing availability is supplied by JustWatch through TMDB. See TMDB’s privacy policy.

Security and retention

Public connections to our services use HTTPS. Passwords are hashed rather than stored as plain text, and stored Apple refresh tokens are encrypted. Access to operational systems is restricted. No method of storage or transmission provides an absolute guarantee of security.

We retain account and library data while your account is active. Deleting your account removes account-associated data from the active service. Apple token revocation can continue asynchronously after deletion; detached encrypted tokens are retained for retry for up to seven days, with cleanup performed by the running service. Operational logs, support correspondence, and backup copies may remain separately and are not all erased immediately by account deletion.

Your choices

You can update your library and preferences, manage linked sign-in methods, and delete your account in the app. Contact goldieqapp@gmail.com to request access, correction, or deletion assistance. We may verify ownership before fulfilling an account request.

Children

goldieQ is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact us so we can investigate.
